Over four years, we architecturally designed and fully re-built a very tired Portuguese house into four stylish, modern apartments with a calm private Courtyard garden patio.
The Property is, as its name suggests, neatly hidden away from the hustle and bustle of Lagos behind secure doors, but is conveniently located within the Historic Old town walls.
In total, the apartments can accommodate 15 guests over 4 separate private apartments. It is perfect for those holidaying with family/friends, attending a wedding or event, such as the World Superbikes, whether in a group, or individuals/couples, as we can accommodate guests in several private apartments yet in the same location together, if desired.
All apartments have their own private front door entrance, bathroom and fitted kitchen.
The property is a genuine 2 minute walk to cafes/restaurants/ bars/bakery, less than 5 minutes to the main street restaurants /shops and an easy flat 10 minute walk to the beach, with a few minutes further taking you to the picturesque Lagos Marina
You can reach the 5km long Meia Praia beach with just a 10 minute walk through the town and a 50 cents small boat across the water inlet, or wander to the cove beaches at the bottom of the town (no boat or car necessary!) in under 10 minutes.
The Marina, surrounded by restaurants and bars, has a myriad of boat trips, from grotto cave boat trips, to dolphin tours to private charters.
There are 4 golf courses within 15 minutes, including the championship Palmares golf course, Boa Vista Golf Resort & Spa, Espiche golf course and Penina Golf Resort.
Just 15 minutes away by car or motorcycle, you have the Autodromo race track (Portimao Autodromo) which hosts the World Superbikes event, Le Mans Endurance racing and the Algarve Classic Car festival.
Those who wish to travel by motorbike or cycle through the area can secure their bikes within the locked private Courtyard entrance area.
For those choosing to drive to Lagos, we are 50 minutes from Faro airport and there is ample parking just along the street in an open air free car-park. If you would prefer to take the train from Faro (about 1hr 50 min journey), the Apartments are 5 minutes in a taxi from the Station or a 15 minute walk.
