Welcome to our Elegant Boutique Suites nestled within Old Town, Lagos, Algarve

Over 4 years, we architecturally designed and fully re-built a tired historic Portuguese house to create four elegant, modern and individual suites within a calm private Courtyard garden patio inside the Old Town walls of Lagos, W Algarve.

The house, overlooking the tranquil allotment gardens and hidden away in a quiet street of the Old Town, comprises 4 modern Suites, all with private entrances, large individual private bathrooms, private lounges and modern private fitted kitchens with eating areas, both indoors and outside.

In total, the Suites can accommodate 10 guests over 4 separate private Suites.

It is perfect for Solo travellers (holidaying or working)as the Property is safe and secure and with Fast fibre WiFi. It is perfect for holidaying couples who are away together or for those travelling with family/friends to attend a wedding or event, such as the World Superbikes. Whether in a group, or individuals/couples, we can accommodate guests in several private Suites yet in the same location together, if desired.

Our Suites:

Beachcomber – sleeps 2 – Ground Floor, one bedroom suite with twin bedroom (can be configured as a King bed), large private bathroom, fitted kitchen and private lounge.

Ocean Mist– sleeps 2 – Ground floor, large studio Suite with twin bedroom area, large private bathroom, fitted kitchen and private lounge.

Ocean Breeze – Sleeps 2 – 1st and 2nd floor levels with loft style mezzanine: on 1st floor level, there is a lounge, fitted kitchen, huge bathroom and dining area. On the airy mezzanine level, there is a full sized double bed.

Sunny Daze – Sleeps 4 – 1st and 2nd floor levels with loft style mezzanine: on 1st floor level, there is a lounge, fitted kitchen, large bathroom and vaulted separate Twin bedroom (can be configured as a King bed), as well as a conservatory balcony with eating area; on the airy mezzanine level, you will find 2 further Twin beds.

Outside, there is a peaceful patio area with ample seating for dining al fresco amongst lemon trees.

Our Location:

The property is a genuine 2 minute walk to cafes/restaurants/ bars/bakery, less than 5 minutes to the main street restaurants /shops and an easy 5 minute walk to the beach, with a few minutes further taking you to the picturesque Lagos Marina.

You can reach the 5km long Meia Praia beach with just a 10 minute walk through the town and a euro fee on a small boat across the water inlet, or wander to the cove beaches at the bottom of the town (no boat or car necessary!) in under 10 minutes.

The Marina, surrounded by restaurants and bars, has a myriad of boat trips, from grotto cave boat trips, to dolphin tours to private charters.

There are 4 golf courses within 15 minutes, including the championship Palmares golf course, Boa Vista Golf Resort & Spa, Espiche golf course and Penina Golf Resort.

Just 15 minutes away by car or motorcycle, you have the Autodromo race track (Portimao Autodromo) which hosts the World Superbikes event, MotoGP, F1, Le Mans Endurance racing and the Algarve Classic Car festival.

Those who wish to travel by motorbike or cycle through the area can secure their bikes within the locked private Courtyard entrance area.

The Suites truly are hidden gems in Lagos old town: stylish, airy and modern, convenient for everything the Town and area has to offer, with the added attraction of tranquility and relaxation.

Suites are available for minimum night stay price of 5 nights throughout the year, as well as long winter lets. Depending on season, suite, number of guests, prices are from €125 night per Suite and from €650/week. (Longer winter stays only available from €950/28 nights plus bills- please enquire).

Please note we cannot accept pets, children under 13yrs, nor smokers, for the comfort of all guests staying at Old Town Hideaway.
